India is selling petrol diesel at half price to many countries

In India, there is a haphazard rise in the rising prices of petrol and diesel. Meanwhile, the information that is shocking is revealed in the right to information. According to a media report, RTI has revealed that India is exporting diesel to petrol and 29 countries at 37 rupees per liters by the rate of Rs 34 per liter to 15 countries. On this petrol and diesel, the government is selling its own people by imposing taxes of 125 to 150 percent.

Big information from RTI

The RTI of Rohit Sagarwal of Punjab has revealed that Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd From January 1,2018 to June 30,2018, refined petrol was sold between 32 to 34 rupees per liter - and 5 to 34 rupees - in five countries - Hong Kong, Malaysia, Mauritius, Singapore and UAE refined diesel were sold. On this day, the price of petrol in India was Rs 69.97 to Rs 75.55 per liter and diesel was priced at Rs 59.70 to Rs 67.38 per liter.

Apart from these five countries, refined petrol-diesel is exported from India in the US, England, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Australia, South Africa.

Rohit Sarrewal says that the rest of the countries are getting cheaper refined petrol and diesel from India, but people here are being taxed up to 125 to 150 percent. This is the reason that in most states of India, petrol is being sold between 75 to 82 rupees and diesel 66 to 74 rupees liters. The latest news is that the government has refused to take petrol and diesel in the realm of GST. That is, the hope of lowering prices is also over.

In the excitement of this RTI, Congress has started to paint the issue of politics. Party spokesman Randeep Surjewala said while tweeting this information, "RTI has opened the poles of BJP, the cheapest diesel-petrol petrol selling Modi government to other countries" However, it is a matter of fact that in the Congress rule, there was no tax on petrol and diesel, but now the BJP government is being attacked.

India buys crude oil and refining it and selling it to the rest of the country. It earns money. In 2017, India exported $ 24.1 billion of refined oil. According to Indian Oil Corporation, on August 20, Indian companies had bought raw diesel in Rs. 35.90 per liter and Petrol in Rs. 38.25 per liter, which was refined & sold at Rs.37.93 per liter and Rs.41.04 per liter, respectively.

This price is decided on the basis of demand and supply at international level. Due to high competition, these prices are not in the hands of Indian companies.

This is Rs 77 to 82 rupees per liter in India after refining the Rs 35.90 per liter petrol, because it includes excise duty of around Rs 19.48, VAT of 16.47 per liter, other tax and dealer commission. All these taxes are also levied on diesel.
