China will launch 300 satellites;to build BDS to counter GPS



In order to provide worldwide communication services, China has planned to launch 300 'low orbit' satellites. According to the government media, the first of the 300 satellites will be launched at the end of this year. Its name is 'Hongyan' satellite group.


it was announced on Thursday in 'Hunan Commercial Aviation Space and Marine Equipment Forum' in Changsha, Hunan, Central China. According to the report, these satellites will be the first group of 'Low Orbit' (low orbit) communication satellites designed and launched by China. These satellites will get stronger signals as well as China will help in disaster relief operations.
     
Official news agency 'Xinhua' informed the move in February in its report. It was said in reference to 'China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation' that China is launching 'Hongyan' satellite group this year.

China to build BDS to counter GPS



China is already developing its own satellite monitoring system 'Baidu Navigation Satellite System' (BDS) in response to America's 'Global Positioning System' (GPS). China will use BDS to reduce dependence on GPS in military operations.
